St. Augustine Wild Reserve (St. Augustine), Florida

St. Augustine Wild Reserve is a center that cares for unwanted exotic animals. The reserve is located in St. Johns County, Florida and is home to wonderful exotic animals that have been rescued or were no longer wanted by their owners. Tours are by appointment only and they take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 2 pm. Tours cost $30 per person, $10 for children aged 5-10. Castillo de San Marcos (St. Augustine), Florida

Experience the rich history of the Castillo de San Marcos. Built in the 17th Century, it is the oldest masonry fort in the United States. The fort has been home to and has witnessed clashes between different cultures. A visit will let you in this amazing history. The Castillo de San Marcos is open year-round except on Thanksgiving and Christmas day. Admission costs $10.
