Rock City Gardens
A unique rock formation garden featuring massive boulders, ancient flora, and the famous "See Seven States" overlook. It’s a whimsical, natural wonder that has captivated visitors for generations.
SCOUT LOGISTICS
Rock City's paths can be narrow and involve some tight squeezes (Fat Man's Squeeze!). For a large reunion of 15-50, stagger your entry times in groups of 10. Use the "Big Rock Lounge" as your final rally point—it’s spacious and offers spectacular views where the whole family can regroup for lunch.

Ruby Falls
America's deepest commercial cave and tallest underground waterfall. Visitors descend 260 feet by elevator into the heart of Lookout Mountain to witness the illuminated 145-foot falls.
SCOUT INSIGHT
Ruby Falls is a "timed ticket" attraction. Book your group slots at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure everyone gets in together. The walk is about 1 mile round-trip on level but occasionally damp paths. It’s a perfect, temperature-controlled activity (58 degrees year-round) for escaping the Georgia summer heat.

Incline Railway
Known as "America's Most Amazing Mile," this historic trolley-style railway is one of the steepest in the world, carrying passengers up a 72.7% grade to the summit.
SCOUT LOGISTICS
The Incline cars hold about 40 passengers. For a large reunion, you can essentially reserve an entire car for a single trip. Start at the St. Elmo station (bottom) where there is more parking for large vans. The upper station is just a short walk from Point Park, making for a seamless mountaintop itinerary.

An immersive experience featuring a massive 3D electronic battle map that recreates the 1863 "Battle Above the Clouds" with lights, sound, and historical narration.
SCOUT INSIGHT
This is an excellent "seated" activity for the group. The presentation is about 30 minutes, which is the perfect length to keep kids' attention while providing deep context for the adults. It’s located directly across from the upper Incline station, making it a natural regrouping point.

Sunset Rock
A dramatic cliff-edge overlook offering sweeping views of the Tennessee Valley and the Tennessee River. It’s a favorite spot for locals and photographers alike.
SCOUT LOGISTICS
Parking at the Sunset Rock trailhead is extremely limited (only about 8 spots). For a group of 15-50, park at the Cravens House and hike the 1.5-mile Bluff Trail to reach the overlook. This turns the visit into a beautiful, shared family hike with a world-class reward at the end.
