Kalamazoo Nature Center

Adult admission is $10 and groups of 12 or more pay $7 per person when booked at least 2 weeks in advance with guided hikes available for an additional $3 per person. The visitor center and main exhibit hall are ADA accessible with smooth floors and accessible restrooms and the paved Sensory Trail near the building is wheelchair friendly. Trails beyond the main campus are unpaved and may be slippery after lake-effect snow or spring thaw so wear waterproof boots from November through April.

The main floor and beer garden are ADA accessible with flat surfaces and an accessible restroom though the upstairs event space requires use of a stair-climbing assist device available from staff.

Street parking on South Rose Street and Academy Street is metered at $1 per hour with a 3-hour limit and the Kalamazoo Transportation Center garage 2 blocks north costs $5 per day. Summer concerts run every Friday from June through August at 7 PM and groups can reserve a picnic area for up to 50 people through the city parks department at $25 per 4-hour block.
