Free guided tours run Monday through Friday at 10 AM, 12 PM, and 2 PM and accommodate up to 30 people per session with advance registration required 2 weeks ahead for groups over 15. Parking in the Empire State Plaza underground garage costs $3 per hour with a $15 daily maximum and holds over 3000 vehicles so space is rarely an issue. The building is ADA accessible on the ground floor and first floor via elevator but the famous staircase areas require climbing and are not wheelchair accessible.

The plaza is free to visit and the underground concourse connects all buildings with climate-controlled ADA-accessible walkways ideal for winter visits when temperatures drop below 20F. The Corning Tower observation deck on the 42nd floor is free and open weekdays from 10 AM to 3:30 PM with elevator access suitable for wheelchairs and strollers. Groups of 20 or more can arrange a free guided art tour of the 92 sculptures and murals by calling the Visitors Center 10 days in advance.

Adult admission is $10 and groups of 10 or more receive a discounted rate of $8 per person when booked at least 2 weeks in advance with a dedicated docent guide included. The museum is fully ADA accessible on all 3 floors with an elevator and accessible restrooms on each level. Free parking is available in the museum lot on Dove Street with 40 spaces and additional metered street parking at $1.50 per hour along Washington Avenue.

Walking tours of the Ten Broeck Triangle and Mansion District are self-guided and free with printed maps available at the Albany Visitors Center at 25 Quackenbush Square. The brick sidewalks in the historic areas can be uneven but all major intersections have ADA-compliant curb ramps and the Quackenbush House visitor center is fully accessible. Book fall foliage walking tours by mid-August as the October prime color weekends fill by September 1 and groups over 12 should split into 2 tour slots.
