Route 414 along Seneca Lake and Route 54A along Keuka Lake are the most scenic loops totaling 80 miles with no tolls and multiple pullouts for photos every 3 to 5 miles. Roads are well-maintained two-lane highways but have limited cell service between villages so download offline navigation before departing. Fall foliage drives in the first 2 weeks of October are the most popular and lakeside lodges sell out by early July so book group accommodations no later than June for peak color weekends.
